August ist der Weltkatzentag &#8211; Zeit, der rund 2 Millionen Katzen zu gedenken, die in Deutschland auf den Stra\u00dfen leben. Viele von ihnen sind unterern\u00e4hrt, krank oder verletzt. Um die Zahl der heimatlosen Katzen\u00a0 langfristig zu minimieren, appellieren Tiersch\u00fctzer an Katzenhalter, ihre Samtpfoten kastrieren und gleichzeitig zu Zwecken der Identifikation auch kennzeichnen und registrieren zu lassen.<\/p>\n<p>Wir m\u00f6chten den Tag aber auch nutzen, um an unsere Stubentiger zu denken und uns vor Augen zu f\u00fchren, warum wir unsere Katzen so sehr lieben.
